Speech Therapy

A brief 15-minute observation with a licensed therapist to determine whether a full evaluation is the next step.
Evaluation
An assessment with testing, record review, and a detailed written report that includes recommendations and goals, if warranted.
Individual Therapy
Ongoing sessions one to two times per week, based on your child’s evaluation and needs.
Feeding Evaluation
Includes feeding trials, record review, and recommendations for treatment or other specialists that may need to be part of your child’s care team.
Consultation
A 30-minute conversation with a therapist to learn about our therapy process, review any reports you wish to share, and talk through concerns and next steps.

What ages do you serve?
We serve children from birth through adolescence.
Patients typically transition out of our services at age 20.
What is the frequency and duration of treatment?
Treatment is typically provided at 1–2 times per week, based on therapist recommendation and your child’s individual needs.
The overall length of therapy varies depending on progress and goals; however, recommendations are made in six-month intervals.
How long are therapy sessions?
Most therapy sessions are 30 minutes. Session length may vary depending on your child’s needs and therapist recommendation.
Is a referral required?
- Speech Therapy (ST): A referral is required if using insurance.
- Occupational Therapy (OT) & Feeding Therapy: A physician referral/prescription is required for both evaluation and treatment.
Do you offer bilingual services?
Yes. Select locations have Spanish-speaking therapists available. Availability is limited.
For all other languages, we also offer interpreter services when needed to ensure a thorough evaluation and effective communication.
Do you offer teletherapy services?
Yes. Teletherapy may be available after the evaluation, if it is clinically appropriate and aligns with the therapist’s plan of care.
What insurance plans do you accept?
We are in-network with many major private insurance and Medicaid plans.

Do you offer home, daycare, school, or ABA center services?
At this time, services are provided exclusively in one of our six clinic locations across the DFW metroplex.
Do you have after-school availability?
Most clinics offer appointments between 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM, depending on location.
These times are in high demand and limited. Availability changes throughout the year as:
- Patients discharge or graduate
- Schedules shift
- New providers join
We recommend families:
- Begin the intake process and join the waitlist for preferred times
- Or check in regularly for openings
What are your attendance expectations?
Consistent attendance is essential for your child’s progress in therapy.
Families are expected to:
- Attend scheduled appointments regularly
- Provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations
- Maintain an attendance rate that supports ongoing care
If attendance falls below expectations, your child’s schedule may be modified, placed on hold, or discharged from services.
